The American Indian Business Association (AIBA) was founded in 1994 and is a service organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging our American Indian students in their academic, personal, and professional pursuits. AIBA seeks to provide a balance of opportunities for our members through our AIBA events, our partnership with other Native and professional organizations, and corporate sponsors.
AIBA’s VISION
Our vision is to produce tomorrow's leaders by providing opportunities for our members to gain first hand business experiences in order to assume professional positions after graduation. Our professional members have the benefit of networking with other professionals – Native and non-Native - and opportunities to mentor our future leaders as well as recruit them upon graduation. In addition, we aim to encourage and build capacity for Tribal economic development
AIBA’s GUIDING PRINCIPLES AND VALUES
This is the first year AIBA will be coordinating the Summit Golf Classic for AICCNM. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Indian Business Association of UNM for Student Scholarships.
